What thing happened to you as a child that you haven’t let go of to this day?

PRINCIPAL: Well, she was arrested and charged for assaulting you, as she has previous criminal history. On top of it, her mother has withdrawn her from attending school here. The cops had to release her back to her parents due to the nature of burns on her hands, (flipping file folder) umm, yes, ER Physician who treated her reported as 2nd degree electrical burns.
Was a On-Call Minister for several hospitals. Received a call for “death rites” of a Catholic Patient, since the Parish Priest and Elders were not able to attend, so I was called upon to “stand in” by the time I had arrived, the patient had expired one minute after they called me; they were trying to cancel the service (but I was already on my way).
This is where it gets really weird, I jumped back in my body; and was struggling to wake up. My Dad came into the room and he noticed I was in a daze.
Then my mom came in, I mean, she walked right through me, and tried to wake me up for supper and I wouldn’t wake up. She got mad, and just said “Fine, go without” and left the room.
He departed and my granddad was outside, and saw the Deputy leave, came over and asked me what all that was about. I told him, that Black girl, Tammy, he was asking what happened.
I then gave him the report in regards to the Psych Ward Patient, and he thanked me, because all their staffs were reporting her as “not a psychiatric patient but suspected domestic abuse/violence were involved”. I recommended that they move her to a different location to a safe place.

He then said “Go back to bed, I will take care of it.”
While talking, the Administrator there got a call; needed a Ordained Minister right away to the ER, and told me to get my butt down stairs to the ER, to ER room xxxx. So I did, and once in the room, they were trying to revive a Black Female, who overdosed. She was lapsing in and out. She was literally dying. The ER Doctor said “She’s yours…” and walked out pretty frustrated and angry. I could hear the Cops trying to get an ID, and then the Officer let me in and immediately I knew who she was.
I ran to the bathroom and put a wash cloth on it trying to stop the bleeding; and I lost so much blood. My mom wouldn’t call for the Ambulance (we did not have 911, only Operator and plus where we were zoned, City services were NOT offered, you would have to pay for it on “demand”), in fact, my mom was squeezing my fingers (where it was totally numb). I was getting light headed.

Once I returned home from school, I was home for 2 days, just to recuperate with absolutely no idea how or why!
The PE Teacher came from behind and used the hockey (field) stick to separate her from me. Her hair literally was standing on the ends (not just her hair, but also the hair on her skin too), both of her hands were blistered (2nd degree burns). And I was left in a complete daze, like my whole life was sucked out of me, suddenly became so groggy.
Afterwards, was looking for the Administrator, and was told he’s still down there in the ER. So I proceeded to return back in the ER. Tammy’s parents were there, which was very easy for me to see, for Tammy took after her mother’s appearance, and took after her dad’s built.

He said “You’ve been hit by a lightning… you should be alright within the next few days.”
Officer 3: (lifts the bed sheets to examine her hands, and yes, she was burned, the scars were still intact!)
ME: Really?
There’s not much anyone can do when a family member had been disowned (her dad had the legal papers that proves such - as the Administrator handed it to me, she was disowned when she turned 18) and like he said “The primary reasons why her parents showed up was to make sure she was “dead and cold” which left them both relieved!”
ME: Yes, Tammy? The Black girl? Any update? How is she?
He then knelt down and called for my mom, because he thought I was awfully pale; I was too groggy to notice anything. He then helped me up to the bed and propped me up with pillow for support, and unwrapped the bandage that my mom had put on.
Have you ever had a bad gut feeling about someone and it was right?
I looked at my skin and it was extremely pale, as I was very tanned.
Officer: Name?
My mom phoned my Doctor, which he said to “Keep it elevated” (because at that time, my mom said she was bleeding, didn’t tell him HOW much blood I had lost) and so I went to my bean bag and we put my pillow upwards so it was elevated. I kept complaining about electrical feeling, zinging around my body and my Mom just said “You’re just reacting to seeing your blood” (which was not true).
So he wrote a note to school, for them not to permit me to “get all hot and sweaty” and that my hand was limited. To make sure the finger tips does not get wet. Plus that she was struck by a lightning and cut off her finger tips.
PRINCIPAL: I’m fine, peachy as a peach fuzz. What may I do for you today?
ME: Could be.

Officer 1: (radio name, and dispatcher gives him her rap sheet and location which was another agency).
My dad at that time was a Pharmacist Tech; so he went into the medicine cabinet and bandaged me on both fingertips after putting medication to keep infection out, then bound the two fingers (fore and middle). He asked me what happened and I told him, and I could still feel electricity tingling in my body.
Officer 2: She attacked you?
I am dead serious, I cut a big chunk out!
I returned back to school on Monday, and I noticed Tammy wasn’t there; yes, I was concerned, I knew she got burned, so I asked the teacher for an “excuse and permission” to go to the Principal’s Office, and he granted it. I went to the Principal’s Office and waited for him.
I walked up to the bed, and her eyes suddenly grew wide opened and fixated on me. The Officer took notice, and I then said “Tammy?” She responded with a very slight head nod. Her last words were “I am sorry, forgive me.” and she passed.
PRINCIPAL: Bottom line, she won’t be attending school here anymore and one less problem student here. (proceeds signing slip for return to class.)
I remember my Dad saying “Why didn’t you take her to the hospital? It does look like she will need stitches to close it.” I know my mom spoke, I could hear her talking but no idea what she said! Then my Dad was going to sew me up, but at this time I heard my Mom say “she will be fine, don’t bother.”
The Officer then said “You know this woman?”
Well, my mom was out shopping as I was at home, and a Deputy came to the door, he wanted to ask me some questions. The first question was: Are you wired? (Can you imagine my reaction?) Wire with what? (perplexed state).
I have no idea, but I fell into deep sleep. I felt myself going to a Tunnel, and saw a bright light. It was very nice, peaceful, and serene. I felt like I was floating. Then I found myself standing in front of me (while I was laying on the bean bag), it was really weird.
Then the Administrator was downstairs, and he then summoned for me, I was needed at room xxx and room xxx and the Psych Ward with patient (name) for me to do a report of stats (mental state).
It’s not that “I haven’t let go” but rather, it gives me flash-backs.
He then asked “how are you feeling now?” I said “Recovering.” He then stated, “Do you want me to charge her (Tammy) for assault, since she grabbed you?” I mean, I’m not the person that slams cops down because of someone’s sloppy behavior. I just said “Not really, but it’s not my position.”

Pregnant women warned against using weight-loss jabs - BBC
The day the notorious troublemaker, a Black girl (she hated white people - hold this train because we will go back to this), who was 16, grabbed me (her first mistake) and got “zapped” (thankfully the Principal was there to see that, and those close to us - 2 teachers, and 9 students)- all heard electrical noise, and all saw the “flashes of electrical lights”.
The Principal had me to go into his office and as for Tammy, she wound up in the Nurse Station. The Nurse had to call her mom, which her mom took her to the Hospital. My mom came to pick me up and the Principal just merely told her “She is not feeling well.” He didn’t dare make any mention about the event.
I prayed for the two patients and then went to the Psych Ward, and made my report, a bit puzzled why she was in there to begin with, but “complaint by husband that wife was cuckoo and demanded she be seen by the (Psychiatric) Ward.” She was fine, after I asked some questions, it was very easy to see, she was a victim of domestic abuse; consulted with her and she agreed to get out of the bad marriage with help and assistance that were available; in addition, knowing there were no children involved.

Officer 2: I noticed she recognized you, and would that be why she said she was sorry? For what she did to you years ago?
It wasn’t a couple of days, that electrical feeling remained with me for several YEARS! In fact, kids were taunting me (they thought I cut my two fingers off) and began bullying me and really backed off. WHY? The moment they touched me, they would be shocked! Yes, literally shocked! So many kids backed way off, they were afraid of me.
ME: A bit sluggish but I will live. Thanks for asking. And you?
13 years old; Thunderstorm in the distance. I raced back home and was in the garage, after harvesting sugar cane. Because the garage door was opened. Out of no where the bolt came zooming down and struck the anvil at the same time I was cutting the sugar cane with my Bowie knife. I slashed my two finger tips right off! In addition to feeling electricity zapping through my body, and my hair was singed. (1st time struck by a lightning, I’ve been struck 3 times to date.)
ME: Yeah she did, she wound up with electrical burns on both hands.
The Deputy then reverted and asked me what happened in school, and I told him Tammy came from behind me during the class or period change and grabbed me. It was like a 10,000 amps and volts power surge, and she wouldn’t let go of me until Mr. (PE Teacher’s name) used the hockey stick to separate her from me. I told him yes, that’s correct! Once he separated us, it felt like all the life was sucked out of me.
ME: Wow! Wonder what caused that.
ME: Tammy (last name). But I have no contact with her since the day she attacked me in school, her mom pulled her out, and never saw her again until today.
The Administrator saw me, and I waved my hand (‘come here’). He was talking with the parents, and really, the parents wanted NOTHING to do with their (Profanities uttered) daughter that they had disowned. Her dad’s words were icy cold. “Fry her (cremate) her for all I care. We ain’t gonna pay one more dime to that B-word! She ain’t worth a penny in this world! She’s no longer a part of us!” And both of them leave, refusal to claim the body. Which mean she went to the potter’s field.
Officer 1: Success, we were able to get in contact with her parents, they are on their way. And we will confirm the body is that of Tammy (maiden and last name).
PRINCIPAL: Well, hello Miss Sharon. How are you feeling today?
FAST FORWARD: 29 YEARS
PRINCIPAL: Well that’s why we barricaded that location that everyone has to walk around. There might be a power line underground that could be caused by the way Tammy drags her feet (truth).
This part here never had left me:
ME: Yeah, from school, years ago.
